Hello and thank you, I'm really excited for your next steps, either to pursue further education or a new career! 

Generally, I am happy to serve as a referee to students' application. That said, please bear in mind that I can write strong letters of recommendation only if 1) You have received at least an A in your research essay, OR 2) have received an A+ in-class participation (if there wasn't an essay component in the course). Needless to say, it will be in your best interests to obtain strong letters of recommendation for your applications.

That said, if you would like my reference for your applications, please send me an email with a draft letter of motivation/cover letter and your updated CV. Please give me 3-4 weeks' time before the letter deadline. Feel free to give me ample reminders!
